Well It is has been awhile since I have posted. So I am going to try once again. A lot has happened since March. Lance, Lindsay and Mia moved here and went to work for our company only to leave shortly after they got here and move back to Dallas. I was heart broken, but have finally gotten past that heart ache. In June I celebrated my 54th birthday in Las Vegas. I had an absolute blast. Had lunch at Olives over looking th fountains. Wow!!! I felt so pampered. They served me a special dessert of chocalate covered strawberries and 3 various kinds of chocolate truffels. It was so perfect. Very Classy. Enjoyed the whole trip.
Then on July 4th, we rented a beautiful home on Lake LBJ to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. They didn't want to have a party for their celebration, they just wanted to cdelebrate with family and go somewhere special and not go very far. It was a great celebration.
After that we and Glen got ready to go to South Padre Isalnd for our vacation. We encountered a tropical storm. Scared me to death, but lived through it. We go every year and pull our peanut camper to the coast. It is a ten hour drive, but we absolutely love it.
We are now planning a trip to Las Vegas for Halloween and New Years. Should be great fun.
I have started my diet "again" in an effort to be a little trimmer for those vacations. So far I have done pretty well. I am doing Weight Watchers and weight in on Thursday nights. I will try and post my progress or lack there of.
Today was a pretty slow day at work. It has been slow for a little while. I worked in my craft room shop when I got home.
I am off to bed right now. I have had a long day and I am tired.
